Yep. After 3 flights, a long night in the Lima airport filled with singing, dancing, and whatever else to keep us awake...the Peru Youthlinc team has finally arrived at the Hotel Victora Regina in Iquitos, the heart of the Amazon. We were welcomed by our bus driver and tour guide Llaco, transported to our hotel where we slept and ate a delicious meal. Tomorrow we head to the Heliconia Lodge where we will start our work in the village. We are safe and loving life! Wish us luck!
